Coaches - as we learn more about the features and tools of our new website, I will include here some tips for making the most of your team page.  If you have any ideas please share them by emailing .  I'll then post them here.  Thanks.

DID YOU KNOW THERE IS A WHOLE COACHES MANUAL ON HOW TO USE THE ONLINE SYSTEM?

When you are logged into the system, click on the "admin" button next to your name in the uppoer right corner.  To the far right there is a support tab.  One of the menu items under "support" is a coaches help button which will bring you to a whole manual on how to use the system.

MAKE SURE TO HAVE A SUBJECT LINE WHEN EMAILING YOUR TEAM:
Please make sure to put a subject line in your emails to teams.  Not only does it help the parents sort through all their emails and keeps things from going to their spam file, but it is necessary for the emails to show up in our email log in case we ever need to refer back to them.

TRACK GAME OR PRACTICE ATTENDANCE:
While logged in using your personal password, go to your team page and click on the "schedule" tab on the left.  To the right of each event, you will see a magnifying glass.  Click that and it shows you the status of all team members attendance.  Initially, everyone will show as no response.  Click on the "No Response" button and an automatic email will be sent to all players and coaches asking them to reply back if they're attending or not.  Later you can log in again and when you click on the magnifying glass you can see who is attending and who is not based on their responses.  This is also a good way to figure out if someone is not getting emails.

PARENTS WISHING TO ADD MORE EMAIL ADDRESSES:
It is not your responsibility to manually add additional email addresses for families.  THEY need to go into their own account and add more emails to their family (they simply separate them by a COMMA).

INCLUDE TEAM NAME IN ALL EMAILS TO PARENTS/PLAYERS:
Parents have requested that the team name be included on all emails/reminders.  Several players are double rostered and many families have multiple children playing so it gets confusing with all the reminders to keep teams/players straight. 

IF YOU WANT PLAYERS AND PARENTS TO BE ABLE TO EMAIL YOU FROM THE SITE:
You will need to set your email to "public" on your personal record.  They will not be able to see your email address, but a page will come up allowing them to draft an email to you.
